I have a 1975 oil boiler with baseboard heat for a ranch style house in Western Maine. The oil boiler also supplies our domestic hot water. After reading comments from many of your readers, I'm inclined to switch to a propane boiler. My question centers around the salesman's claim that I also need inline on-demand propane hot water unit.
